Initial – Airport Supplies Operator (non-screener)
For individuals whose work functions include performing security function other than screening
PLEASE NOTE, for Module 5 - Overview of Airport Supplies, Learners will need to undergo some On The Job Training (OJT) to complete the demonstration of local supplies learning outcome: "Trainees should be shown examples of regular goods seen at the supplies site and their characteristics."

Course Aims and Objectives:
- To ensure that trainees know the threat to the aviation industry
- To ensure that trainees understand the organisation of aviation security and the role they play to contribute to security.
- To ensure that trainees understand what they must do to establish a robust and resilient aviation security culture.
- To ensure the trainees understand the nature of airport supplies.
- To ensure the trainees understand the background to screening of airport supplies.
Module Descriptions:
Module 1 – The Threat to Aviation
In this module, we delve into the myriad risks endangering the aviation sector, from cyber attacks to terrorism and natural disasters. Module 2 – Security in the Aviation Industry
